Greg Combet, Member for Charlton was pleased to advise Anglican Care CEO Greg Flint who is based at Anglican Care’s Hunter headquarters in Booragul, that extra service status has been granted for their Scenic Lodge facility located at Merewether.

This is yet another example of the Rudd Government’s on going commitment and recognition of Aged Care in Australia and the services they provide.

“Securing extra service status will enable Anglican Care to offer Hunter resident’s greater options in aged care,” Mr Combet said.

“I am told residents will benefit from positive, caring ageing in an environment of quality, comfort and choice.  Offering a high level of hotel and lifestyle services, residents will enjoy spacious single rooms with en suites containing telephone / computer / internet connections, LCD TV’s, an extensive lifestyle and wellbeing program and varied menu choices.”

Anglican Care has been operating for over 50 years and has an outstanding reputation within the Hunter Region for providing excellent care in both residential care and community care packages.
